Hannah died the night she was born. The new star's light brought her back to life, but left her stricken with palsy. Sariah, Hannah's mother, believes Hannah can be healed, if only she can find the Savior. Miracle of the Christmas Star is a tender story of love, faith and endurance that will touch your heart and remind you why miracles happen.
Susan Dean Elzey grew up as an Army brat, living all over the world, but found her home in Danville, Virginia, when she was 15. Soon after, she fell in love with poetry and writing. She raised seven children, her oldest daughter handicapped with cerebral palsy, which influences every moment of her life. Returning to school after 17 years as a stay-at-home mom, she earned a degree in English and journalism and then a master's degree in literature. Along the way, she published three LDS novels.
In a blended family, Susan and her husband, David, have nine children and, so far, 14 grandchildren. She works as a freelance writer and reporter in beautiful southern Virginia.
Susan has previously published You're a Rock, Sister Lewis with Hatrack River Publications; True Rings the Heart with Deseret Book; and A Chance for Sarah with Cedar Fort.
